History
Tom Stewart began racing a formula 2 stock car in 1977. It might just as well have have been a speed boat that grabbed his attention but after a few pints it was a stock car that Tom spent his well-earned on and he was hooked, right from the start! In fact, history was to repeat itself when, at the end of 2009, Tom's son, Dave bought a share in his first race car while at the TVR Challenge Car Club's annual dinner dance - need it be said that in this purchase too there was drink involved! (Some would say like father like son!) Anyway, what started as something to do on a weekend very quickly became a passion - for them both!
